The pub and inn were excellent: the room was spotless, the food superb and evening meals affordable, breakfast was included with plenty of options, and the lively atmosphere made me want to return.

The staff at The Abbey Inn were exceptional; when I first arrived I had a problem, so they moved me to another room for the first two days, then later returned me to my original room after the issue was fixed—nothing else to complain about.

The pub is very busy, full of happy regulars and a great mix of people, with plentiful food that arrives quickly; the hotel part of this venue is pleasant, comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, so I’d stay again.
