What an amazing spot! The view is breathtaking, situated in the best part of a charming medieval hilltop village. The building itself, a fusion of two traditional stone houses brought together in the 1960s by a renowned architect, shows no compromise on quality. It feels timeless and classy. The only downside was that the chairs in our room matched the building’s age—beautiful but fragile and needing careful handling.

“e' un vero peccato”

The hotel sits in a scenic area close to the historic center, but it doesn’t deserve a four‑star rating; it’s run‑down and needs maintenance everywhere. There are many stairs to reach the room, which wasn’t well cleaned. The bathroom had several issues: the shower head fell onto my head, water leaked from under the shower floor, the tap was barely working and the roll of toilet paper was broken. The shower product was almost non‑existent, the mattress was bad, and the blanket was very old and stiff. The terrace was littered with excrement.
