Rifugio Capanna Passo Valles

“Sleep like a baby at 2.000m.”

I happened to end up there in the evening on a motorcycle tour at this rifugio on Passo Valles, which is a full‑blown hotel. The room was cozy and wood‑panelled. The restaurant was spacious, well‑staffed, with a great evening menu and an extensive breakfast. Check‑in was quick and friendly. Parking was across the road. Nothing else to note.

The staff were very friendly and offered egg dishes and coffee refills without being intrusive.

We ate at the hotel’s restaurant, the food was good and the price was very cheap, and the staff were friendly. The Wi‑Fi in the room was weak.

“Una notte infrasettimanale di settembre. Rifugio a 2000 metri quindi un bel freschino, ma dentro si sta da Dio. Estetica”

The place was spotless, perched at the top of a small step, and the welcome atmosphere was warm.
