“Für mich und meine Reisepläne war es gut und zufriedenstellend”

I was greeted nicely. For my stopover in Berlin and onward travel, the location was ideal because of its proximity to the S‑Bahn and long‑distance trains. It was clean, quiet and I felt undisturbed there. The bed was good.

The proximity to Spandau station was especially convenient.

Honestly, nothing at all. From the facilities, comfort, surroundings and rooms, everything was really bad. Junkies loitered around the hotel, the glass shelf in the bathroom was coming at you. The shower door hung crooked and didn’t close properly, so water leaked into the bathroom. The shelf by the bed was about to fall off, and the surface was sticky. In the “newly furnished” bed there were foreign hairs. After arrival, there was no response from staff to messages.

Clean and both beds were made, even though only one person was booked. A strong food smell in the hallway and room in the evening that lingered through the night was very unpleasant.

The staff were very nice. The room was clean enough. Small coffee/tea bar. The surroundings were not very appealing. The reception and bar felt a bit eerie in the evening hours.
