Located on Trần Hưng Đạo, AVS Hotel Phu Quoc offers direct beachfront access with stunning sea views. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Long Beach and 1.9 km from Sung Hung Pagoda. After touring the whole island I think the hotel has a great location – far from big cities, construction sites, and “ghost settlements”. Right next to it are plenty of restaurants, shops, massage parlours and scooter rentals (the hotel also rents scooters). The beach is less than 200 metres away and is pretty nice. Like everywhere in Asia, there are litter problems, but here it’s really clean compared to the rest of the island. The hotel doesn’t have its own sun loungers, but it changes fresh beach towels daily, so you can lie on them. The rooftop pool is clean, and the terrace view is beautiful; from above we didn’t see another similar spot nearby. The breakfasts are varied and change daily. Having stayed in Asia many times, we know how hard it is to find a clean, well‑standarded accommodation, and in this case the photos on Booking fairly represent the actual standard, and during our stay we didn’t see any insects. I highly recommend – if I return to Phu Quoc, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again. P.S. When looking for accommodation we often encountered fake reviews on Booking written by the hotels themselves from foreign accounts – I don’t know if anyone believes them, but we wrote this review after an actual stay at the hotel. The dryer in the room almost “burns” hair, and when the wind is strong, air leaks through the windows so a loud whistling can be heard in the room, but the gorgeous sea view from the eighth floor completely compensates for these little things!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the concierge Thiet, and the breakfast was great and varied; all good.

The staff are extremely warm and helpful. Location is perfect between the beach and the shops and bars. The stuff completely exceeded expectations. One of them even offered to pay for our grab taxi because the app was not working and pay her back later, which was a big leap of faith. The staff also kept checking up on us to see if everything was okay and if they could help us in any other way. The pool and rooftop bar area are really nice. The amenities/toiletries in the room are really good quality as well. N/a
