We stayed next to the old castle and the staff were very attentive.

Everything was great, especially since they welcomed our dog who wasn’t feeling well during her visit, and the place was impeccably clean; I was genuinely impressed. However, the air in the rooms felt extremely dry—no heating, yet at night it was almost unbearable. We kept the window open and ran the fan all night, but it seemed we needed a humidifier to make it comfortable.

The room had high end linens and mattress. The bathroom had a huge tub - very new fixtures. Great location! It was just down the hill from the castle and easy walking to pubs & restaurants. The wifi was public access

I appreciated the location and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom floor tiles were in bad shape, the bath was outdated and unusable, the shower screen had mold, the carpet was worn out, the fridge seemed pointless, and the coffee machine was awful even after we managed to get it working; overall it was a let‑down for a brief birthday overnight stay.
