映向派京春酒店 offers free Wi‑Fi, a 20‑minute walk to the Forbidden City, and Dongsi subway, 3 minutes away. Wangfujing is a 5‑minute drive; Lama Temple and Beijing Railway Station are 10 minutes away. Air‑conditioned rooms feature wooden floors, kettles, flat‑screen TVs. The hotel provides a tour desk, luggage storage, a safety deposit box, and the Happy Dragon Café.

The hotel sits right in the city centre, steps from the metro and within walking distance of the Forbidden City, and the staff were genuinely friendly with comfy beds. Unfortunately, we only got a tiny towel, the walls let a lot of noise in, the doors in the wardrobe squeaked, and there was a lingering smell of cigarettes. The place could also use a bit of cosmetic work.

The spot is spot‑on – everything I wanted was right there. The room itself was just average, and the window looked out onto a blank wall, so daylight was practically nonexistent, which made the three‑night stay feel a bit cramped. At least I didn’t have to stay longer.

Apart from the room being a tad small, everything else was solid: unbeatable location right off the subway and easy to get to the main sights. The only downside was that the walls didn’t keep the noise out very well.

The place is right by the metro and only a short walk to the Forbidden City, which made sightseeing a breeze. I had a little trouble finding it at first, but a local pointed me in the right direction. The room isn’t large, but by Beijing standards it’s fine, and I’d gladly book it again.

Location was convenient and the room was clean, but there was no window so it got scorching hot thanks to the heating system, and you could hear everything through the thin walls. Not the most comfortable stay.
