The staff were great. The view was super beautiful and photogenic. The mixing tap gave either very hot water or cold. During breakfast, the film shoot that was happening at the time seemed more important than the guests.

“Great view, room, food and staff but out of the way location wise.”

The property is beautiful with an outstanding view of Mt Agung and sunrise. The pool is fantastic. The staff were excellent and the food was good. It’s a short drive to the temple. The local village was not suitable for eating, so we were limited to the hotel.

“Just perfect”

The view is absolutely breathtaking, so I would advise anyone to get a room with a mountain view; you can also admire Mount Agung from the terrace and infinity pool. I loved everything about this hotel: the location (looks like real Bali around there, still untouched by mass tourism), the comfort (large room, large bed, warm water, all very clean), the restaurant (I loved the Indonesian breakfast the most but everything I had was delicious), and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel isn’t too large, which is enjoyable so there aren’t too many people around. I also booked some activities through the reception; I recommend the short hike in the rice terraces and bamboo forest. I never say that about a hotel because I like to explore new things, but this one was so perfect that I would definitely love to come back if I ever go back to Bali. It was just wonderful.
