The Holcombe is an excellent pub/restaurant on the edge of a quite, small village. There is good walking al the way around and we found the location excellent for days trips to Bath, Glastonbury and Cheddar. The restaurant serves really good food and whilst expensive it is certainly good value. The room we had was a self contained garden office/summer house fitted with en-suite bathroom. It was cosy, quiet and had all the amenities you would expect with a good selection of high end toiletries. We'll certainly go back when in that part of the world. Not a lot

The location was perfect with great views and a friendly welcome. The food was amazing, the country ambience lovely, and the bathroom was large with nice toiletries. The chef’s homemade menu items added a personal touch and tasted fantastic. The breakfast was beautiful. The bedroom could use a full‑length mirror near a plug socket, and the TV was oddly placed off the wall, making it a bit wonky and distracting. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The Inn is beautiful and set in a very peaceful environment. Every tiny detail was carefully considered, creating a lovely interior. Catherine and Alan made us feel very welcome, and all other staff were great. The food deserves a special mention; from breakfast to dinner, each bite was exquisite and beautifully presented. Thank you, Alan! We have stayed in many places across the UK and abroad, and the food at the Holcombe was easily the best we have ever had! Absolutely nothing was wrong.
