On my third visit I’m almost hooked; it’s a true secluded escape with miles of walking and plenty of wildlife. Bring battery packs—this is an off‑grid adventure. Don’t be an idiot on the mountain; it can get cold, so come prepared like you would for camping. There’s nothing to dislike.

The setting was idyllic, with amazing views—especially the stars at night! It was so peaceful up there that you could see and hear many birds. I suggest setting an alarm for sunrise too, because it was STUNNING. The pod was a good size, spotless, and had everything you need for a nature break. The compost toilet was housed in a small wooden hut beside it, properly built (not a portaloo), and was honestly fine. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends for a night away to switch off.
