It’s a good spot, close to all the tourist attractions. However, the room wasn’t truly cleaned: the sheets never changed, towels and toilet paper were not replaced, and one towel was dirty. We had to put them on the bed one day, but the towels were swapped and no toilet paper was provided.

The view and the room were great. Nothing else; the place is magnificent.

Walking to the beach was possible, the pool area was safe, and there was a parking lot. The pictures looked better than reality – there isn’t a hotel, just individual rooms. We expected a local contact for our Cape Town start, and the mention of breakfast was misinterpreted; breakfast consisted only of vouchers for nearby cafés with a limited amount.

Far Horizons far exceeded our expectations! We loved the homely feel and the team kindly upgraded our room after our long trip. Tiger, the house cat was gorgeous and we simply didn’t want to leave. Thank you Tracey and team, we are genuinely excited to visit again soon and will make a point to base ourselves at Far Horizons!

We stayed here for only 2 nights. The location is great and the hosts are very accommodating. The room was a little too small for two adults with luggage, which I didn’t notice when booking. If I visit again, I’ll choose a larger room in this beautiful house.
