“Disappointing”
The place was peaceful and the town charming, and the host kindly let us use the kitchen to warm our food. However, the price was too high for what we got, and the pool and jacuzzi were covered in ugly plastic, while the garden was locked so we couldn’t wander around. We booked on the same day, which annoyed the host; he called us an hour before we arrived, but when we got there at 18:40 the room wasn’t ready, so he offered a room with a broken toilet that required a bucket to flush. He then let us move to a different room that still needed cleaning, so we walked for an hour to give him time. The next morning we were told to have breakfast at 9:00 and leave the room at 10:00 for new guests, so we were kicked out before the stated 11:00 check‑out. We don’t know why we were treated differently from other guests. In short, we won’t stay here again or recommend it to friends.
