“Horrible Hotel”

The bed was very uncomfortable, the TV kept shutting off, and breakfast was awful—only juice, bread, and pancakes, no meat or anything else; the front desk lady stood around as if someone might steal something. I paid for two nights, but it was so bad that we left in the middle of the night, checked into a hotel in Thomasville, and returned the key at dawn. It’s a very bad place if you’re looking for comfortable sleep and a decent breakfast.

The room’s sanitation was lacking; I found two washcloths in the shower before I even used the bathroom, and the pillows definitely need replacement.

“Staff friendly, quiet area... grass/yard kept mowed. Felt safe.”

The pool was enjoyable, though it would benefit from more shaded spots like a pergola or trellis; the A/C and plumbing were all in good working order, and the bedding was just okay, but the towels were very thin. The room itself wasn’t very clean—details such as mirrors, the top of the headboard, and the edges of the flooring were neglected, even though the sink, toilet, and shower were clean. Mildew appeared in several areas, the wall behind the toilet had a hole in the wallboard that was crumbling, the shower curtain rod was about to fall off, and the curtain itself needed replacing. Overall, the place could use a deeper clean and a facelift.

The property was clean, and there were no negatives to mention.

The location was great, the staff were friendly, the hotel was pet‑friendly, and the beds were comfortable, leaving me very satisfied.
