Beautiful spot right by the Meoto Iwa. Ise Shrine and Oharaimachi are just a bus ride away and there’s even an interactive aquarium nearby. Modern toilets, air‑conditioning, and great Wi‑Fi. Friendly staff and locals. I was worried about bugs given the location, but there were zero in my room, which made me extremely happy! There are only two guest rooms, so the shared bathroom wasn’t a problem at all. Staying in a temple was a one‑of‑a‑kind experience, made comfortable by the available facilities, and I’d recommend it to anyone. I won’t forget it.

We stayed with family for two nights. Everyone was very friendly and the stay was very enjoyable. The morning prayers were pleasant, and we received a goshuin. We stayed two nights, and each time around 3:00 AM there were footsteps and the door rattling, so we were excited, thinking we’d met a ghost, but it turned out to be the newspaper delivery. Still, the inn feels full of atmosphere, making you think something might be there…

The location, the setting and the welcome were positive, but the weeds, the somewhat shabby common room and the basic furnishings were negative.

The equipment was very good, but at check‑in it was dark so I got a little lost.

It was an interesting experience! The accommodation only had two rooms, so we weren’t disturbed by other guests. The spot was close to the sea, a public onsen and transport, but it was rural, so there were insects and it wasn’t very clean. Still, I would stay here again because overall it was great.
