“Over-priced for a max two star hotel. Despite a very good staff 4 stars.”

The only real positives were the staff’s support, especially Sandy at checkout, and the rooms were clean. The hotel itself looked worn out, lacking any visible care or the “Marriott touch.” When we arrived, the lobby and restaurant had chairs on tables, a dark and uninviting feel. The carpets were long overdue for replacement, so you didn’t want to walk on them in the rooms. It feels like Marriott is squeezing the last drop of orange from this property. The air‑conditioning unit was as old as the hotel, less than 12 inches from the bed, and it’s loud when it starts.

The beds were comfy and the layout was nice, but I found a hair in the shower.

The place was clean, comfortable, and offered great value for money, but I was asked for a deposit and had to put my credit card on hold; in the middle of the night another charge appeared on my card that I couldn't understand. When I asked at checkout, they said they'd refund it, which they did, but then a third charge appeared and I had no idea why. Now I have to call to find out what that new charge is for, which is ridiculous.
