We liked the location, the cleanliness, the atmosphere that felt “old and full of character,” and the owner, Kati. We received personal service and an excellent breakfast. Kati asked what we didn’t eat and we told her which Greek dishes we enjoy; she then prepared a Greek meal for us and even gave us recipes. The room was a bit cold, but that’s not the hotel’s fault; we understood that Kati, the owner, explains that the whole town has no heating fuel until 15/10. Another important point: every day the entire town’s power is cut from 9:30 to 16:30, so the electricity suddenly stops during breakfast… that’s how they manage their energy supply.

The room was great in a lovely traditional house.

The hotel is in the family’s original home from 1876, all stone with a wood stove, and everything is tastefully decorated. Breakfast is indulgent and served in the courtyard by a very kind and friendly host. There were no complaints.
