This place is stunning, especially in autumn. The owners are wonderful and their big dogs are adorable—though they bark a lot when you first arrive, so if you’re scared of dogs, keep that in mind. The cottage itself is gorgeous and totally worth the trip.

The guy was sweet and helpful, the surroundings were beautiful, but the owner’s dog had a severe eye infection. Our dog caught worms and eye inflammation, costing us a vet bill. The breakfast had an old rag left on it, which I think belonged to previous guests.

The friendliness, the quiet, the pool, and especially the dogs were all great. The kitchen was vintage but a bit hard to open.
