It’s a beautiful Tuscan house surrounded by vegetation, quiet and very spacious. The path to get there is a bit narrow (no two cars fit), and if you come from the front it’s hard to find a spot to pass. If you don’t have the preference, you have to backtrack until you find a gap.

The host was welcoming and kind, the place was clean, cozy, in a great neighborhood with an amazing view from the window. The only downside was the steep uphill climb, but aside from that everything was wonderful, so it was worth it.

“Non torneremo più”

The view is the only thing good. We just left the place… or rather we fled. I don’t understand the positive reviews… The structure, as described, is old and it fits us, but the cleanliness is poor, dead cockroaches in the shower tray, the bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs (uncomfortable because if you needed it at night you had to leave the room and go down the stairs). The breakfast is an insult: we were two but there was only one pre‑packed croissant, an already‑consumed donut, and a container with biscuits that was not hygienic because you had to put your hands in it, almost like a clamp. In the kitchen, dirty and messy, there was a fridge with two yogurts, an open pack of pan bauletto, and a near‑expired milk bag. No one is present at the place, so if there are problems you have to contact them by phone. Not to mention the stale, old smell that lingers throughout the structure… I’ll stop here, but there’s a lot more to say. It doesn’t match the price we paid… for two nights, I think €100 was overpaid. I strongly advise against this place and believe me, I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews.

The owner was friendly, but the room felt like a tiny monk cell and the bathroom was outside the room.
