Located steps from Shin‑Imamiya Station, Hotel Shin‑Imamiya offers free Wi‑Fi, on‑site laundry, and a large male‑only public bath. Rooms range from traditional Japanese futon suites to capsule pods. Ten minutes’ walk reaches Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku Tower; Tennoji Zoo lies equally close. A five‑minute train ride leads to Abeno Harukas, Japan’s tallest building, and Kansai International Airport is reachable in 40 minutes.

It’s close to the airport train and metro stations. The capsule is individual. The mattress is thin, and if you have a noisy neighbor like I did, it will disturb your sleep. I stayed for four days, asked to switch capsules because of the noise, and they wouldn’t let me.

Conveniently located near a convenience store, supermarket, Shin‑Ima‑gami Station, and Zoo‑mae Station. Tenjin‑kaku and the zoo are within walking distance. Even though it’s a capsule room, it’s separated into a private space with accordion curtains. Having luggage storage before check‑in and after check‑out was a huge help. Foreign guests’ bad manners are noisy. The staff, especially the cleaning crew, are not very good; the door‑closing sound is loud, and the shower room is dirty.
