The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. The rooms were clean and matched the description. Being a bit away from Ella’s center is nice if you want peace and quiet.

Everything was perfect: the quiet location, just a 5‑minute tuk‑tuk ride from the city’s hustle, rooms overlooking the forest and the monkeys, and a lovely, attentive family who gave great tips and could even drive us around in a tuk‑tuk when they were free. Tarushka, the eldest son, was especially helpful and full of information. The only thing missing was a mini‑fridge in the room and perhaps air‑conditioning (though we didn’t need it), and the chalet didn’t match the description—we got two adjacent rooms on a terrace with a stunning view, no living room, no internal connection between the rooms (which would be an issue with small children), just the two rooms sharing the terrace.
