“A wonderful Gasthof to spend some quiet days in a lovely and peaceful village”

Breakfast was excellent with many choices, but the room was on the ground floor and the steps were hard to manage, especially with large and heavy luggage.

“Schöner Landgasthof, sehr empfehlenswert”

We stayed two days at Landgasthof Heidetal, and everything matched our expectations. The location is great for excursions. The inn consists of a hotel and a restaurant. The room was large and quiet. The breakfast was also well prepared. In the evening we ate a very good meal at the inn. We received a greeting from the kitchen with a wonderful carrot ginger chili soup, which tasted great. We liked it very much and highly recommend it.

“Ansprechend”

The overnight stay was in a separate building in the courtyard. Parking was not available there, only across from the restaurant on spots in front of the church. The bicycle storage could not be locked. The smoking area directly under our windows was disturbing because the smoke entered the room when the windows were open (it was smoked often). The room was simple and functional (see pictures). The bathroom is of an older design. The shower was cleaned more thoroughly after our complaint. We were very satisfied with the breakfast and the friendly service. Everything was abundant and of good quality. Additionally, the food at the associated restaurant was excellent, though not included in the booking.

The staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant was tasty, but we unfortunately had an unrenovated room with a mattress that was not very firm, loud creaks with every movement, and a too-soft mattress. The second room we booked was top.

The location was idyllic, but the accommodation turned out to be in the rear building, not the one shown in the pictures, and the rooms weren't cleaned properly; the staff, however, were very friendly.
