The place was fine and close to everything we wanted to do, but the toilet was hanging off in the bathroom and a fireplace went off at 4 am, and no one seemed to know what was happening until someone turned it off.

Only two sockets per room forced us to constantly plug and unplug to charge phones, use the kettle, and watch TV. The beds were too soft, with springs visible in the mattresses. We stayed at the other property, assuming the main one was fully booked, and walked a 5‑minute distance to borrow a hair dryer, believing the properties were adjacent.
