The place was quiet and simple. The room had a moldy wall, which triggered my allergies and made me feel sick. If you’re not bothered by that, it’s fine.

I spent just one night here and it was great value for money. The bed was comfortable and the room looked clean. The building is a bit old and has a slight damp smell, but nothing shocking. The location is fairly good, about a half‑hour train ride from the Duomo, and the price is very reasonable. On the downside, the shower pressure was weak and the two of us were given only one tiny bottle of shampoo. Mosquitoes buzzed at night, though that’s probably a local issue, not the hotel’s fault. The towels provided were small, but you can manage.
