The Orange Motor Lodge is centrally located in Orange, offering off-street parking and BBQ facilities. Rooms feature microwaves, refrigerators, toasters, and tea/coffee-making facilities, with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi. Conveniently situated near takeaway restaurants, the lodge is a short drive from Orange CBD, sporting and medical facilities, and all rooms are on ground level.

I could park right outside the front of the room, and the room itself was spotless. The microwave and ample milk in the fridge, plus two bottles of water, were appreciated. The bed was comfortable, the linens crisp and clean, and the room had everything I needed—toiletries, a shower cap, body lotion, and nice white towels. The TV reception was poor.

The room stayed warm, so I didn’t need heating. It was small but perfect for my needs, and the Wi‑Fi was excellent.

The room offered plenty of space, with a couch, tables, and chairs, and the bathroom was large enough. The bed was too soft, the bathroom door was hard to close, there was no crockery or cutlery for breakfast even though a toaster was provided, and there were no bedlights.

Everything was fine except one thing: one side of the bed was lower in one spot.

The location was great—quiet and convenient. The room was tidy and clean, the shower was awesome, and the bed was nice and soft. The fridge contained water and milk, which was excellent. The pillows were very hard, leaving us with sore necks, so softer pillows might be needed. Also, small plates would help since there was a microwave but nothing to put food on.
