I stayed two nights and on the morning of check‑in around 10 a.m. Domenico texted me that the room was ready and that we were welcome, which was a pleasant surprise because it was earlier than scheduled; I was still in the city, had breakfast, then headed to Polignano with my suitcase; the room matched what was advertised—a large room, huge terrace overlooking the city, a balcony with sea view, two big panoramic windows, everything was spotless, the bathroom was spacious, the towels were white and fresh, the bed was great, the linens were clean, the mattress was comfortable, and the location was convenient with the train station, cafés, restaurants, and the famous Lama Monachile beach nearby; in the morning they brought fresh croissants and hot cappuccino, and Domenico responded quickly to all messages; those were unforgettable days and I will definitely return.

The location was great, but when we arrived we asked for soap and glasses and never got them; we were told there was a terrace attached to the room but it was actually on the roof; the room lacked a kitchen sink, plates, etc.; breakfast was just four pastries each morning, which felt wasteful compared to fruit; the coffee machine was outside the apartment and the milk dispenser wasn’t working.

The location and cleanliness were spot on, but the breakfast felt a bit lackluster and repetitive—same dishes every day.

The spot was great, yet the hotel was very basic: no glasses, the air‑conditioning was almost impossible to operate and we stopped trying, leaving us with only the bare essentials.
