The room was clean, yet the terrace was not, and the bathroom products were poor quality. The price was too high for the lack of quality I’d never seen before, and the room felt like a matchbox with a view of a dry area instead of the beach.

The service was good, but the cleanliness could use some improvement.

The place had just been renovated, and when I asked for a iron, they handed it over without a hitch. However, upon arrival we found a piece of cheese in the fridge and there were ants in the bathroom.

I enjoyed watching the sunset from the apartment with a mountain view. Unfortunately, no one spoke English, which made communication a bit tough. We couldn’t try the restaurant because it was already closed at 18:00 when we arrived in the second half of September. The nearest place in San José opens around 19:30–20:00 and is overpriced, offering mainly pizza – which is probably typical here.

The room was great – clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The terrace was lovely too; it doesn’t face the beach, but the interior scenery is pretty. The staff were very friendly. It’s right next to the beach and the only spot in the town to unwind, so we highly recommend it as one of the best in the area. The pillows were a bit lacking and breakfast wasn’t included.
