“It was conveniently located on Mt Dessert Island. The staff was very nice! Love the ability to order lobsters right at t”
The spot’s spot‑on‑location, the pool, hot tub, and pickleball court were all great. The home fit perfectly, giving stunning views, and felt both snug and spacious.
“It’s ok for the money”
We had to bring our own food; we used K‑cups for coffee, but the only coffee maker had no filters. The floors were clean enough, yet the stair carpet was dirty, worn, and risky. Only one blanket was provided, and the heat was weak. The house felt over‑regulated for a vacation spot and needed a refresh; the kitchen lacked supplies.
“A quiet commune with nature.”
We loved the remote location, less crowded than Bar Harbor, yet the drive for food was short and access to Acadia was superb. Deer and turkeys visited the backyard while I enjoyed coffee on my private deck—vacation couldn’t get better. Checkout was at 9:00 am, earlier than most expect, and we had to strip beds, wash dishes, recycle, and take out trash before leaving, so we started early to meet the deadline.
“Quiet location with great accessibility to Acadia!”
The villa was lovely, with easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Checking in was swift thanks to the courteous staff, and everything else was flawless.
“Clean. Good facilities, Plenty of space even for 4 persons”
The townhouse was a good size—we barely used one full floor. It had a washer, dryer, all dishes, an iron, and an ironing board, plus three TVs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Walking into town is fine, but the woods shortcut isn’t safe at night, so a car is essential; the Acadia Park bus stops on the main road but runs infrequently.
