The breakfast offered a wide selection, mainly Chinese dishes but also Western options. The coffee machines were handy, so I didn’t have to wait for a pre‑made drink. The metro station is right next to the hotel, making travel easy and cheap (2 RMB per trip, except 5 RMB to the train station).

The room was large and the hair dryer worked well. The location was excellent, just outside the walls. The breakfast wasn’t very sweet—no cakes or brioche, only bread and savory items.

Staying right in the city center, the room had a view of the city walls, and the breakfast was wonderfully varied. The bathroom sink was old.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in; it’s perfect. I wish I could visit Xi’an for more days to stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel by metro, stepping straight from the train station. We walked to all the city’s tourist spots and shopping centers. The view from my room was special; we could see the Xi’an wall lit up at night, which was spectacular. Our room number was 831. The breakfast was plentiful but had very few Western options, even though the reservation claimed otherwise. The front‑desk staff at this 5‑star hotel didn’t speak English; everything was done through a translator, which was very annoying.
