Old Field House

The location was great, just outside the busy town and close to many attractions. Breakfast was phenomenal—best waffles ever! The couple that owns the place are the nicest people, pleasant and accommodating. The bed was not that comfortable; the owner moved us to another room, which was better but still not great, but I overlooked it because everything else was great.

“Naturally, it would be a place we would stay again.”

The owners knew the area inside out and offered solid local tips, always friendly and genuinely invested in guests. Breakfast was modest but tasty, especially the waffles, which were the best. The bathrooms need an upgrade, but overall the rooms had a charming country feel and the hot water was a nice bonus.
