Motel Blue River Calimanesti

“Aprecieri Blue Rever”

The reception was outstanding, the rooms were spotless, the food offered good value, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service at the restaurant was top‑class! Mrs. Neli is the soul of the hotel, as is the rest of the staff. We’ll gladly return to Blue Rever! 🥰

“比预期好很多的酒店”

The car hotel sits beside the river, with a beautiful view, especially at dawn when clouds drift over the water and the reflections shift like a dream. Even though one side of the hotel faces the main road and is noisy, the staff gave us a room on the riverside side; there were few guests in the low season, and they even let us choose between the second or third floor as long as we closed the windows, making the traffic noise disappear. Breakfast was an extra charge and we didn’t get to taste it because the next day we flew to the capital, so we had to eat what we brought; it was a pity to miss their cuisine. The parking lot is ample. The phone map showed the hotel 2.8‑3 km away, so I wasn’t sure if the hotel had moved or the map was outdated. There were no signs on the road, the nearby highway was under maintenance, and asking a local was difficult. After some effort I finally found it; it’s really on the highway.

“Romantic, comfortable location and excellent cooking.”

The location is wonderful, with the Olt River looming darkly outside the window, a perfectly quiet room, very comfortable beds, an incredible breakfast, and very nice staff.
