If every hostel offered such flawless service, I would travel much more often; I’m very satisfied and recommend it, and I also appreciate being able to stay in the POD, which, although it had unbelievably little space for personal items, provided adequate and comfortable sleeping—even with air‑conditioning; the hostel staff were very kind and pleasant.

“It’s ok”

The location was great, but it was quite cold, the old windows made outside isolation poor, you have to wait a long time for hot water because everything is super old, and the elevator was super bad.

The beds were comfortable; I stayed in a bunk where headroom was limited but manageable, yet the shower doors were hard to lock and the washing machine and dryer left my clothes smelling bad.

“What a hostel should be”

It’s a classy yet fun hostel: the lovely lobby is a great hangout spot, the stylish kitchen, bar, and basement café feel like a quality pub for meals or drinks, and the breakfast is worth the money if you pay the night before; there are nice gardens, balconies, and a spacious shared dorm; the staff are highly skilled, and it’s close to transit, theater, and grocery stores, with options for concerts or booze cruises depending on your taste; it’s a youth hostel but anyone can book, and it’s fun and friendly without being a frat party. The dryer barely dried your clothes, but they had one.
