“Fantastisk utsikt, utrolig personale!”

We were treated wonderfully, and the place was absolutely beautiful! The service attitude of the staff was superb; we felt they remembered every guest. It was lovely to get out of the city, and the shuttle bus was very convenient. We loved the private outdoor pool we had, and thought the room was very nice. The food was exciting and good, and we feel incredibly lucky to have met a maiko and had a show at dinner.

The location is very out of the ordinary—a nice break during my road trip in Japan. The food was exceptional; I tried things I’d never have cooked myself if I hadn’t come to the hotel. The staff were attentive, and the private onsen in the room was a highlight. I recommend it 100 %. The checkout was a letdown: they sell a hotel goshuin at the price of a room, which you could give as a gift… 😒🙄. It’s printed, not a stamp or drawing—disappointing.

“Expérience inoubliable”

The surroundings are exceptional. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The whole experience—Ryokan, typical meals, the setting—is something you should do at least once in your life.

Everything about our stay was an absolute dream! The staff were fantastic, the experience will stay with us forever, and the food was phenomenal—literally everything. Absolutely nothing we didn’t love; it was our favorite part of the trip and we’ll return every year.

I loved the room, the location, the staff, the nature, and the breakfast food. The dinner was not great; I was hoping for good food, and while there was a lot, it wasn’t good.
