This charming B&B in downtown Montreal surprised me with its spacious, sparkling-clean rooms that blended old and new décor; breakfast was freshly made to order by chef Wanita in the kitchen, and I loved every moment of my stay.

The room was cozy, well-decorated, and well-laid-out, with a comfortable bed; its unique character stood out compared to chain hotels, and the location was perfect for a downtown Montreal stay—next to a metro station, one block from the Bell Centre, and a couple of blocks from St. Catherine and Crescent Street, so everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The only downside was the stairs, especially after a marathon, but that was my own fault.

The location was great with the metro just a ruin’s corner away, and the staff were super friendly and helpful; the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. However, we were assigned a room downstairs in building 1401, which was fine until 6 am when loud kitchen noises, staff trampling, and a strong food smell made it impossible to sleep; this was very disappointing for such a lovely place, and they could at least have informed us and offered a different room.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great, and convenient parking was available out back; the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall it was a great stay, though the bathroom was dated, which is understandable in an older building; there were no other issues.

Hervorragende Lage, nur 20 Meter zur Metro. Parkplatz hinterm Haus, 16 Dollar pro Nacht. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück (16 Dollar), große Auswahl an Eivarationen. Wir kamen nach der üblichen Check-in Zeit an. Der Kontakt deswegen verlief gut und unser Zutritt wurde organisiert. Wir hatten die Deluxe Suite, sehr anheimelnde Ausstattung, frische Blumen. Auch im Frühstücksraum standen frische Blumen. Unsere Wohnung hatte zwei große Fenster mit Holzjalousien. Eine davon ließ sich gar nicht mehr verstellen. Wir empfehlen eine Schlafmaske
