The location was great and they let you borrow a paddle board; the bed was comfy but the pillows felt hard. The receptionist seemed to dislike her job, barely speaking; the cleaning schedule was confusing—rooms were tidied in stages at odd times, like 9 am and again at 11 am, and I wondered why it wasn’t all done after check‑out. The vibe felt off, with everyone outside seeming high and there were no common areas. The curtains let in too much light.

The staff were very friendly, the spot was excellent, and every evening they offered activities plus a big recreational area. The bathrooms weren’t super clean and we used the same linens for more than a week.

I really liked the hostel; the staff were friendly and helpful, the beds had good curtain covers in the dorm rooms, and the toilets were clean. The surrounding area was beautiful, and you could basically walk barefoot to the beach in the morning if you wanted. The 7/11 was convenient. There was a PS5, a (wonky) pool table, and weed‑friendly policy. I’ll book again in a few days. The nearby bars, restaurants, night market, pharmacy, etc., were limited, and the bar wasn’t cheap, though there were deals. The bed was one of the most comfortable dorm beds I’ve had.

It’s a great hostel with a welcoming vibe, friendly staff, and a special shout‑out to Bongi, one of the volunteers, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Nothing else to add.
