Gästehaus Wildpert

Three years ago we happened to stay here during a home trip from Slovakia, and we really liked the snack in the vineyard and everything else; now I had planned a few bike tours in the Wachau and surrounding area, so we chose the Heuriger as the ideal starting point. The building next door is the Heuriger. There is NOTHING to leave the room; we didn’t use the apartment at all, and it would have been useful to have a kitchen and everything else. We basically used only the shower and the beds.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the rooms felt modern and spotless, stocked with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was solid and the meals served throughout the day were tasty as well. All in all, a very comfortable stay.

The kitchen turned out to be quite good, serving up tasty dishes, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. It made the whole experience feel pleasant without any fuss.

Everything was nicely taken care of – the place felt warm and inviting, with a peaceful vibe that let you unwind. We loved the breakfast and the garden dinner overlooking the vineyard, and the beds were really comfortable. The only downside was a bit of sound from neighboring rooms, so it wasn’t completely quiet.

“Hidden gem in wine country”

The whole team went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the on‑site restaurant served solid comfort food at fair prices, especially the chanterelle mushroom pasta. We dined there for both dinner and breakfast and were consistently pleased. The rooms were clean and comfortable, rounding out a great stay.
