The staff were really helpful, and the breakfast was good. Getting to downtown Bordeaux by tram is easy. The noise was so loud that you would need earplugs to sleep. Cleaning left the window open and the lights on, so our room was full of mosquitoes when we returned in the evening.

The location and direct proximity to restaurants are great. Unfortunately, I was first assigned a disabled room—something I never requested or mentioned—smelling strongly of sewage, and then moved to another disabled room. I had booked a standard room a month and a half in advance. If a standard room cannot be provided as originally booked, it would be helpful to indicate that a disabled room will be assigned instead.

The hotel has been renovated and the bedding is of good quality. However, the rough plaster on the walls, dusty nest with stains, and finding a cockroach in the room are significant hygiene issues that warrant increased vigilance.

The proximity to the tram is convenient; it’s only a 5‑minute walk. The construction is very basic, and you can hear all the neighbors’ noises as if they were in your room.
