“Taupo pit stop to 60th party”
I was grateful that the staff waited for me after a last‑minute booking that was delayed, and the location, room, and bathroom were spacious; I didn't get a lake view because I didn't read the description, which clearly stated there was no view.
The location was good, but the bathroom safety was a concern.
The spot was good, right near town, but the place itself looks worn out and needs a makeover; the bathroom door and window wouldn’t seal properly, and the steps outside our lower‑floor room made noise every time someone passed up or down.
The location and lake view from the 3rd floor were nice, and the room was clean, but the motel feels tired and seriously needs an upgrade; the wardrobe had a shelf inside and nowhere to hang clothes, there were no towel racks, no sink in the room, and the bathroom felt unhygienic to use; the glass table was loose and unsafe, the sauna was out of order and full of junk, and it should be fixed or removed from the website.
