The Royal Clifton Hotel, a grand Victorian-era hotel, boasts a stunning façade and superb facilities. Located on the promenade, it offers panoramic views of the North-West coastline. The hotel provides comfortable, high-standard accommodation, tastefully furnished en-suite rooms, and immaculately kept gardens. Its prime location allows easy access to Liverpool, Chester, North Wales, and the Lake District.

The location was excellent, and the staff were very polite and friendly. The décor could use some upgrades.

The room was nice and spacious, offering a view of the lake. I appreciated the new carpet and the newly refurbished bathroom with a large shower. All staff were welcoming, and the evening singer performed quite well.

It’s a typical old‑style seaside hotel that looks a bit tired on the outside but is excellent inside. The room was great and the staff were great. What’s not to like? 🤷♂️

I stay in 3 different hotels per week all over the country, for work. This is the first hotel I've ever been in where I asked for a ground floor room on the booking form and actually got one. So the staff were great and no problems at all

Friendly location and staff. No entertainment because they claimed there weren’t enough guests, the bar area felt too light, and the elevators were too far away.
