“Volvería sin pensarlo”

The place is in a superb spot, just 100 m from Penarth metro station, has a restaurant on the first floor, and the service is excellent; Tony made me feel at home and, even though my English isn’t great, he and the whole team helped me all the time during my stay, so I’m very grateful and would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again. The only downside is that it faces a bar and at night there’s some street noise, but it doesn’t last all night and is tolerable.

“Great stay fab& friendly staff hospitality & the food in the restaurant was great”

The location was great, with a wide range of local shops within walking distance, close to the marina and the train station that takes you into Cardiff, and there was nothing to complain about.

The location wasn’t bad, but the rooms were very small and dated.

The restaurant was nice and the staff were friendly, there was a fan in the bedroom, and tea or coffee were available but no bottled water. In the room the curtain fell down, the shower water was so hot I couldn’t rinse my hair – either too hot or very cold – and it was rather dusty. When I asked about bottled water, a short rude man told me tap water was fine to drink and I was charged £5.20 for a glass bottle of spring water, more than twice what I’ve paid at Waitrose.
