Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Lethbridge

I was happy during my stay; nothing negative.

“The gym was not available, but was not informed prior to the stay, the suite does not match the pic”

Breakfast was above average and the hotel room was clean, but the check‑in process was frustrating: my credit card was held on file, the chip was old and didn’t work for incidentals, and the front staff wouldn’t offer an alternative; I explained that if I was denied, my card would still be charged, yet she insisted the pin was needed for verification even after I provided ID, credit card, and other IDs; after asking for a 1‑800 number or a manager, she said a debit card could be used for incidentals at $500, which most people dislike, but I agreed, though it was a big hassle; the room in the photo did not match ours; the breakfast had waffles but no syrup, and the eggs were unseasoned, so I couldn’t finish and had to drive to a drive‑through for breakfast.

The location was great; nothing negative.

“Not as good as other locations of the same chain”

The shower was good, but a fan—probably on the roof—kept running all night and kept me awake.

“Excellant one night stop in Lethbridge and sure to return”

The location, value, and staff were all top rated, and the morning breakfast was very good; my only complaint was the coffee, which is an individual issue.
