The room was spotless, fresh, and had just been renovated. The centrally controlled radiator heater kept it warm, and the bed was very comfortable. Hot water was steady and the shower was great. It was only a 5‑10 minute walk to Mestia’s centre and the main bus stop. The only downside was the lack of Wi‑Fi. The doors to the neighbouring rooms were noisy, so a lubricant spray like WD40 could help quiet them 😊

A simple little guesthouse. The family is adorable and everything you need is there: a dorm, a private room, a clean bathroom, and a kitchen (with everything) if you don’t want to eat the prepared meals. It’s not luxury, but don’t ask if you’re looking for something cheap in Mestia. This one is the best value for money. Perfect!

The owners try very hard to keep the guesthouse clean, forgetting that this isn’t the only important thing when your business is to provide people with shared accommodation. The quiet hours were not respected, there was noise and drunken local guests who tried to break into your door several times during the night, daytime construction work, and no working Wi‑Fi – clearly not a good addition to my stay, especially since I needed to work.
