The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and filling. The staff were kind, friendly, and courteous. It’s close to the Rusutsu resort, and I would definitely stay here again.

The host was friendly, cooked tasty breakfasts, and ran a daily shuttle van up the mountain—though you could also walk, which takes about 10 minutes in ski boots. He even picked us up from the bus at the nearby hotel for free and drove us to Niseko later at an extra charge. We stayed in a downstairs room with a private bathroom; it was roomy, and the shower was huge with a bathtub too. The only downside is that it’s farther from the mountain and resort dining than the main hotels, but the walk or shuttle was no issue.

The bedroom and bathroom were great, and I loved the French‑toast breakfast the proprietor made. There were free van shuttles to nearby centers, and everyone communicated in English.
