We spent four fantastic days in a beautiful, very quiet setting. Imanol and his whole family welcomed us like family. We were given a room with an unbeatable balcony, and I must mention Jose’s skill and craftsmanship in the kitchen—he probably ran out of pork cheeks. Thank you all very much.

“Vale a pena!”

The rustic accommodation was well preserved, and the staff were very friendly. However, visiting nearby spots on foot is impossible because the place is a bit off‑center.

The hotel had a lot of charm, but it was largely underused. The room promised a jacuzzi that never worked, and the price we paid was outrageous. Some parts of the room were not very clean.

The proximity to Fuente De and the village where it’s located is pretty. When we arrived, we had a reservation for a room with a jacuzzi, but it wasn’t listed. We don’t know whether booking or some technical issue caused it, but the hotel staff eventually found a solution, putting us in a smaller room with a small shower. Despite that, we managed to get a room and they adjusted the price because the room didn’t meet our reservation requirements, so we were very pleased with how they handled it. All the negatives we noted were tied to the issue, as our expectations were those we had selected on booking and couldn’t be met.
