The breakfast was excellent and the staff member was meticulous, attentive and friendly. We decided on a second night on a whim; they told us it was possible but we would have to change rooms. We cleared the room in the morning and checked in again at the front desk that evening. Surprisingly, they assigned us the same room as the first night but at a 20 % higher rate. On the sink, likely left by the housekeeping lady, a half‑filled cardboard cup with spilled coffee sat; the sink had not been cleaned and the trash can was still full. The duvet was smooth‑stitched, but the sheet underneath still looked like we had just gotten out of bed in the morning. As an apology, we were invited to a drink at the bar, but the frustration over the room price remained.

The breakfast was very good and the rooms were fantastic; they offer free cold water, hot water, and soda. Guests staying more than two nights who request not to have their room cleaned are entitled to a cup or bottle of light or strong drink at the hotel bar. The staff were wonderful. A special shout‑out goes to reception clerk Marie, who did everything with warmth and perfect service, even offering us a new calculation of our stay that saved us money. The Wi‑Fi could use improvement.
