Nuanu Creative City is a magical, sensory playground for all ages, mostly in good ways, though a bit random. My arrival was stressful when I learned my room wasn’t ready because of technical issues, and the staff only moved me after 2 hours, pushing check‑in from about 2‑3 pm to just after 5 pm. While waiting, I got a whirlwind tour of the Creative City. I was initially disappointed by an exotic bird enclosure that seemed too small for the peacocks, but a butler/tour guide/driver reassured me that the birds were in a temporary space while a larger one was under construction. The crew throughout Nuanu City were amazing. Hospitality at venues like Ash made up for the afternoon delay, with a complimentary beer when my phone died late at night and I couldn’t make a last Wise transfer. The venue itself is spectacular, a unique architectural experience, a work of art. Luna Club’s main floor and the multi‑media art areas are bucket‑list experiences that live up to expectations 100 percent. My favorite was the Utopia Cave Club. A word of advice: if you want to float on a donut with a drink, don’t expect it to get splashed full of pool water! It’s rare to wake up in an earth dome, brew coffee, and have your butler ready for a ride to the butterfly sanctuary. One night and morning isn’t enough to see everything, so Nuanu is a place that pulls you back for the full experience. The only downside was the check‑in fiasco and the fact that I wasn’t told in advance about the yoga workshop that day.
