The lodge is brand new, the bed is large and comfortable, and the air‑conditioning works perfectly. When we arrived, the room’s AC was already on, keeping the room cool. The whole team is very attentive. The lodge has a good pool. The beach lacks stalls and food, but the lodge’s restaurant is open all day until 8 pm, grilling meat and fish. The nearby village is very simple with no facilities. The little beach of Amontada is about 40 min by car, so if you want to explore a town, you need to travel. In short, it’s worth the price and I recommend it for those who want to relax and escape the bustle.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The hot water shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. Carlos welcomed us warmly and we felt right at home. Breakfast was also good. There aren’t many food options in the village, but the lodge’s restaurant is amazing! Carlos and the rest of the staff took excellent care of us. It’s right on the beach, so it’s a perfect stop if you’re doing a downwinder.

The location and room comfort were good. Breakfast lacked fruit on the first two mornings; we stayed one more night and only on the last day did they add fruit to the buffet. The room has no towel hook in the bathroom area and no shelf for shampoo, even though the lodge provides liquid soap and 2‑in‑1 shampoo; I always bring my own and had nowhere to put it except on the floor. Also there is no space for a carry‑on or other accessories, no table or chair support to hold our belongings, so we had to improvise.
