“Atenção”

The hotel sits right next to the ferry, and we walked a quiet stroll in Cananeia. The facilities were satisfactory, the silence and view were nice. However, the front‑desk staff behaved oddly: we had stayed there before and the same situation repeated. When we booked through Booking, the receptionist made the payment process ambiguous, as if trying to take advantage. For instance, the first time we booked for ourselves and another couple, she left unclear whether the price covered both rooms or each room. This time I had cancelled and re‑booked with an upgrade to a better room; we paid, yet she tried to assign us to the simpler room. When I pointed out that there was no mini‑fridge, she remembered it immediately. She forgot to charge us the higher rate but also failed to change the room. This kind of conduct erodes trust in the establishment’s honesty. Additionally, the floor in the room was dirty.
