The place worked fine for a quick stay – the host was friendly and knew her way around travel. But trying to stay longer got tricky; the house rules felt rigid and the staff only spoke Spanish, so communicating in English or German was a hassle. The kitchen was always left a mess and the whole building stayed chilly, which made me uncomfortable after a week. Maybe it’s a good fit for others, just not my style.

I liked the quiet, calm atmosphere of the place. However, the furniture looked dirty and there were odd smells that lingered, which detracted from the overall comfort.

The bed was really comfortable and the owner was super friendly, letting me use the kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The downside was that the room was just a spare bedroom with three double beds in someone's house, though I was the only guest so it wasn’t too crowded.

“I spent the night like a Homeless person at Zurich Train Station”

I arranged a late check‑in until 10 pm and was told the front door description would guide me, so I arrived after 11 pm only to find no one answering the phone. After waiting in the rain, another guest showed me the room was already full with three people, leaving me stranded at midnight in a village near Zurich. I ended up sleeping at Zurich station, tried repeatedly to contact the owner, got no response, and now have no refund.
