The location is excellent, inside a courtyard of a condominium with a private entrance, extremely quiet. Check‑in was fully automated, keys were digital, but once you had them it was easy to get in. The place I stayed in wasn’t a room but a real apartment, with a kitchen area and a large fridge with freezer, a dining area with table and chairs and a sofa bed, a TV, a large bedroom also with a TV and a very big bathroom with a huge shower, a washing machine available. It was well equipped, with everything, and what struck me most was the presence of basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt, vinegar and more… plus a coffee machine, of course. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows.

The hosts were very polite, even though we only met them by phone. Because the apartment is entered with codes, it was a bit difficult, but they helped us and we managed. The location is quiet, the metro is relatively close… everything was fine. The room was clean and ventilated, but a bit dark because it was a ground floor and you couldn’t open the window. Thank you.

The location is simply unbeatable. I drove over and parked for a few days in a nearby parking garage that’s well equipped and sits on a busy street, yet the courtyard stays quiet and pleasant. Plenty of cafés and restaurants are close by, and the Vatican is about a 10‑minute walk away. The host was reachable on WhatsApp at all times.

The location was close to the Vatican and Rome’s city centre, easily reachable by metro and bus. We felt the accommodation didn’t deliver on its promises in many ways: we booked a 30‑square‑metre room, but it was quite small— the room map listed only 21 square metres, not 30. We chose a larger room hoping for extra space to relax and sit, yet there was no sofa, and the table was so small it was almost impossible to reach. Though a kettle and water boiler were listed, we couldn’t use them; the kettle was dripping water and the cabinet underneath was stained and warped, indicating it hadn’t worked for a long time. We reported the kettle issue, and the host promised to fix it, but we never heard back. We didn’t try the water boiler because there was no tea or coffee powder available. Only one espresso cup and one mug were provided—too few for two people, with no extra glasses, plates, or cutlery. The host charged us 20% more than the price shown by the booking site. The place is called Kert (garden), and the photos show a garden, so we assumed we could sit there for a few minutes, but before arrival we received a message saying we couldn’t rest or even stop in the garden. We didn’t understand why it was advertised as a garden when we had no access to it.
