I got a room on the top floor; the view through the skylight doesn’t show the garden, but the interior and exterior are very quiet and clean. The two ladies who run the place are welcoming, especially the one who greeted me upon arrival. She cares about guest comfort. As a fellow hotelier, we chatted a lot about the profession and my experience as a client. The old‑school architecture and management style bring back memories of my early career. Until next time. The garden layout could use improvement.

This historic hotel blends the locale’s history with comfort, and the rooms offer a beautiful view. The best part is having breakfast in the veranda and garden—a charming, timeless moment. The welcome is lovely, and everything is arranged to make you feel at ease. The breakfast itself is delicious. The only annoyance is that the toilet lights turn on automatically, waking you up at night if you get up.
